The Start
The race starts at Sherwood Road at its junction with the Sherwood Field. This year, all races will start from the same point. There is a Warm Up Area, plenty of Toilets sited around the field, Information Point, Left Luggage and Changing Rooms with Showers.
The Route
From the start, go forward along Sherwood road then turn left into Welington Road. Forward Welington Road and turn right into the High Street, forward High Street and than turn left into Seacroft Road. Forward along Seacroft Road to the T junction and Turn left into Seaholm Road, forward Seaholm for a short distance then turn left into George Street. Forward along George Street to the T junction and turn right into the High Street. Forward along the High Street to the “Star of the East” (new since last year) up a slight incline and turn right onto the promenade. Forward along the Promenade to the turning point then reverse direction and back along the Promenade to the “Star of The East”. Down the short incline and turn right into Quebec Road. Forward along Quebec Road and turn left over the bridge to Sherwood Field and the Finish.
